When Giving Up Is Easier Than Repenting

Repentance..

“What’s the point?

Why is this necessary?

How’s this going to change anything?

Giving up is easier.

Just forget about it.

It’s not worth it.”

These are all the questions and thoughts that Satan puts into your mind.

If you’re like me and you have these concerns I’m here to ease them, hopefully.
What’s the point of repentance? The point of repentance is going to Christ with your problems, burdens and sins and being forgiven of them. Christ suffered for you so you don’t have to suffer no matter what you’ve done, who you’ve been or whatever else is hurting you.

Use the atonement. It’s there for YOU, and it’s meant to be used as many times as YOU need.

It’s necessary because sin never was or will ever be happiness.

How’s repenting going to change anything? It’s going to change your life. You may seem happy but you’re not. True happiness is when you come into Christ with your sins and use the right tools and repent of them. You might think you’re okay now, you might think you’re doing fine but trust me, you have the potential to be so much happier. And you can be.

Giving up may seem easier, but it’s not at all. In the bigger picture giving up will just hurt you more than help you. Along with those around you. Don’t give up. This gospel is meant to help you and to strengthen you. It’s meant to help you to be happy so take advantage of that.

Forgetting about it won’t work, it’ll always be in the back of your mind. You won’t be able to truly move on and forgive yourself if you try to push it away instead of dealing with it.

It’s so worth it. The happiness. The joy. The forgiveness. It’s all worth it.

So when giving up seems easier than repenting, don’t give up. Take the proper steps to be as happy as God wants you to be.
